The Abusers

Parents are often the abuser and the first to be looked at when a child shows sign of abuse.

Siblings can and do inflict greater damage if the parents are blinded by the love for the evil child.  Siblings have free access to the child, possibly because they share a room or the sibling bully is their resentful, sexually deviate, babysitter.

On the other hand, the parents of an abused and tortured child may be unaware of the cruelty inflicted on their child.  Not until the child acts out, runs away, sets fires, steals, or is placed in juvenile detention, or attempts suicide, does their painful mistreatment surface.

More often than not, however, if the child has been properly groomed, intimidated or terrified they will remain silent.  They will keep the secret of their abuse, even to their own self-destruction, rather than face public exposure and perceived humiliation.  They will believe with all their heart the threats the pedophile said.
