• Held while someone else does the beating

• Hit (with fist)

• Knocked (him around)

• Pound (the piss out of him)

• Punched (his lights out)

• Punched in stomach

• Smashed (his ugly face)

• Socked (him in the eye)

• Sucker punched

• Thrashing (gave him a)

• Wallop (hard hit)

• Knuckle sandwich
