Even with success, few people want the world to know their childhood pain but the benefit of sharing is the selfless act would throw kids considering suicide a lifeline.
At risk kids would benefit knowing their favorite celebrities life was not easy for all the glamour they may enjoy now. Stories must be personal accounts of childhood experiences, how you coped, paths reversed, include the black road to addiction, walking the red road of sobriety and of course, healing. There are too many options to list so just tell your story.
Benefit to Celebrities:
- Each celebrity story will have their own page they can update
- Celebrities will be able to proofread, edit and update their story
- Posting a personal story gives the celebrity permission to voice their experience. (When has a celebrity been asked if they ever suffered child abuse, abandonment, brutality or torture? The public expects celebrity perfection when statistics show that few children escape torment in one form or another!)
- Celebrities are invited to share merely an act of kindness that touched their heart as a child.
- What gave them strength to follow their dream?
- Did they ever consider suicide as a teen? What miracle prevented their demise?
- Celebrity stories, pictures then and now, and links to their website will be posted with permission only.
- Write as much detail as you wish to reveal.
- Invitation to share is to celebrities both past and present.
- Any celebrity who doesn't think their story may help others: if it happened to you, it happened to another child.
- A celebrity may find they have released their chi-ult!
- Light a child's darkness: share your story, help a child.
