So many stories, all different yet alike, the memories never left after decades of trying to bury them in rage or a bottle. And wanting, above all else, for someone to notice, to tell their story to. To give their inner hurt child a voice, so they could let go of the pain. Acknowledge the terrible price they paid for silence. All to keep a secret, no longer important to anyone but themselves, often the perpetrator long dead and gone.
