If your parents were the abuser they may have brainwashed you into believing you came from a "good" family especially if the perpetrator was in charge of the brainwashing.  This conflict between what the child knows in their heart to be true, and the lies told to them, causes unresolved conflict within the heart and mind.

Only after many years can the chi-ult break free and look at the whole picture.  A chi-ult is created when extreme violence emotionally freezes the mind of a child at the age of the trauma.  The child remains locked at that level for the rest of their life.

Hard work and time are the only things that will unlock the emotionally frozen child.

Healing the Child Spirit will mean the new person is healed since who you were when born was either modified or destoyed, depending on the level of torture you endured.
