Document significant traumas experienced that impacted your life. Draw a line if it crossed an age range. Sometimes it takes months to remember significant events. Trigger words are divorce, abuse, beatings, fire, abandonment, broken bones, hospitalization, surgery, moving, foster care, jail, rape, incest, to name a few.
It is important for you to list what impacted your life, not anyone else's life. Use your memories if at all possible. You may list what is remembered by siblings only if you trust them to tell you the truth, or they suffered along with you. Just remember that siblings are often family members abusers.
This expereince may be very painful. Take your time. Rest. Relax. Pray, if it gives you comfort.
