Child Abuse and Torture:
Birth through 13 Years Old
Physical Torture Traditionally, all acts of violence towards children have been labeled "child abuse." No longer. Here, these if acts committed on adults are felonies they are listed as torture for undeveloped minds and bodies of children, birth through 13 years of age. Lethal Weapons Guns Vehicles Fire & Heat Retaliatory SubjugationTerrifying acts produce long-term or permanent damage to the mind of a child. It can alter the core being of a child, who they were born to be. Young minds lack the vocabulary needed to express exactly what happened and undeveloped children lack the maturity to understand how and why their life was impacted. Going further, if the child is not allowed to tell anyone about their trauma, they remain locked at the emotional age when the trauma took place. At Private Family Matter, we call them a "chi-ult" = A child whose body matures but whose thought process remains at the emotional age when the trauma took place. This is because the child is never allowed to "tattle" or "tell" and subsequently they are left to believe whatever the perpetrator tells them and generally will blame the child for their own abuse. This process prevent the child from sorting out the truth or reality, which prevents them from healing their psychological wound. Laws must be revised to identify levels of brutality and torture and mete out punishments for perpetrators equal to the crime and with regard for the age of the victim. |
